Measurement & Verification Professional® - CMVP®

Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP) is a talent training and certification program for measurement and verification professionals jointly promoted by the International Performance Measurement and Verification Protocol (IPMVP) and the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE) in the United States. The certificate is awarded by the Association of Energy Engineers and is recognized by many well-known ESCOs, energy users, and international organizations worldwide. It is widely adopted by the U.S. public sector and private industry. Holding this certification is recognized globally and allows for the implementation of energy efficiency measurement and verification using the IPMVP method.

Green Associate

The Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), a subsidiary of the U.S. Green Building Council, offers two types of certifications for green building professionals. These include the Green Associate (GA) certification for entry-level professionals and the Accredited Professional (AP) certification for advanced professionals. LEED certification projects have been implemented in over 150 countries worldwide, making it a prominent standard in driving global green building development. Taiwan currently has nearly 200 project applications or certifications for LEED, and this number continues to grow each year. The demand for professionals knowledgeable in the LEED system is high in both domestic and international industries.

Performance Measurement and Verification Analyst - PMVA

The Performance Measurement and Verification Analyst (PMVA) professional certification establishes the primary standard for individuals applying performance, measurement, and verification concepts to energy efficiency projects. PMVAs typically work in an analyst role for ESCOs, public administration, utilities, and financial institutions and are involved in designing and implementing energy efficiency programs and financing energy efficiency projects. They have demonstrated M&V capabilities, including a good understanding of applying the IPMVP to determine savings. PMVAs could be building technologists, HVAC specialists, engineers, architects, economists, financial analysts, etc.
